About:

Through the soma, we meet the soul… Our felt sense lives on the axis of our body— the physical structure and reciprocal network of rocks, dirt, trees, and sunlight that anchors us in the present and our soul— the spiritual stream or ocean of longing, dream, symbol, imagination swirling inside us that guides us to our center and the collective all at once.

Tatianna Saunders, MA, LPCC

I love working with communities I am also a part of because feeling seen and understood, especially in therapy, is foundational. I believe sharing an unspoken language, one that might be expressed through stimming, culture, and humor, can support the essential cultivation of safety and belonging necessary for exploration, embodiment, expression, and expansion to take place. I work with several somatic, interpersonal neurobiological, depth psychotherapy based modalities including: attachment-focused, polyvagal, somatic, internal family systems parts work, mindfulness, expressive arts, and active imagination.

Boulder-Based

My office is nestled in the heart of Boulder, where we have abundant access to nature and through nature inspiration, co-regulation, and metaphor. I think of the therapeutic container as a space that balances structure and flow, much like the rocks support and direct the flow of a river. We will collaborate on an ongoing basis to find what feels most harmonious and supportive to you.

I offer sessions: in office, in nature—walking or sitting & talking, and online
